Apollo is a young and dynamic company and the brainchild of lifelong racing fans Michael and Daniel. Both men believed that there was an opportunity in the current horse racing syndicate market to offer a fresh and more approachable option. Founded on Michael’s race horse training expertise, Daniel’s business acumen gained from working in the financial sector and their joint passion for the sport and wellbeing of animals, Apollo allow anyone easy, affordable and non-pretentious access to part owning a racing thoroughbred, with the premise of great fun from a business you can trust.
MICHAEL KEADY
DANIEL TUCKWELL
Michael has worked in the racing industry since he left school, having worked for some of the top trainers from around the world that include: Dubai World Cup winning trainer Graham Motion, the acclaimed French jumps trainer Bertran de Balanda and 4 years as head man for top northen trainer, Brian Ellison.
Michael is currently joint Trainer with Mike Murphy in Bedfordshire. Michael and Mike’s working partnership has seen them enjoy some great successes with a good flow of winners out of their racing yard. This has seen them establish a loyal group of both individual owners & owner syndicates.
Michael is highly experienced in buying and trading racehorses with a keen eye for potential in young stock. Michael is poised to launch his own training career in the coming year and is looking forward to having plenty of winners along side his current boss, Mike Murphy.
Daniel has worked closely with, and advised businesses throughout his working career as a Relationship Manager in the Banking industry whilst also working within Risk Management. His strong credit risk background has seen him provide hands-on management for businesses across various industries.
This experience makes him ideally suited to the day to day running of Apollo. Daniel is available for shareholders to contact him on a daily basis to discuss all aspects of ownership. Additionally, he will be managing the relationships with the horse trainers.
Daniel is a family man and keen sportsman boasting a 10 handicap in golf. Rest assured though, his heart firmly remains in horse racing.
